Before or After (playbeforeorafter.com) is run by Soft Sync Solutions LLC ("we"). We collect as little as we can.

Playing the game

You don't need an account. Your progress, streaks and stats are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. When you finish a round, open the site or share a result, we record an anonymous entry: the date, your answers, your play and streak counts, and whether you came from a shared link. It contains no name, account or identifier. Like any website, our server briefly keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

Before or After+

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe gives us your email, the phone number you enter at checkout and your subscription status, and it keeps its own records under its privacy policy.

We use your phone number for one thing: to text you a sign-in code through Twilio (privacy policy) when you ask to unlock Before or After+ on a new device. We don't send marketing texts, and we never sell or share your number for marketing. Message and data rates may apply.

A paid browser holds one cookie (boa_plus) that tells us it belongs to a subscriber. We use no advertising cookies.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers above, as needed to run the service, or when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting data

Subscription records stay with Stripe for as long as Stripe and the law require. To see or delete your browser data, clear the site's data in your browser. The service isn't directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
